Why this one
We’re opening with the first woman, and the oldest lie ever told about her. Marmery takes Lilith out of Eden — where she’s banished for refusing to lie beneath Adam — and follows her through six thousand years of history, hunting for the goddess who was written out alongside her. It’s furious and it’s funny and it argues with scripture on scripture’s own terms.
